March 16, Tuesday -- The Common Threads awards ceremony and luncheon will recognize the philanthropic endeavors and community service of four women involved in agriculture. Receiving awards will be Barbara Vineyard, a Placer County farmer and rancher; Susan Cohen Grossman, Solano County Agricultural Commissioner; Parry Mead Murray, a Napa Valley grape grower; and Margo Souza, a Turlock dairy owner. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the University Club at UC Davis. It is co-sponsored by UC Davis' College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, 91Porn Women in Agriculture, 91Porn Farm Bureau Federation, nine county farm bureaus and the 91Porn Agricultural Leadership Foundation.
